Triton's work with HM Land Registry recognised by IBM
March 20th, 2008
At a recent IBM roadshow Triton's work with HM Land Registry was used as a case study. The challenge was to upgrade key services to comply with the principles of e-government to handle increased workload with increased resiliency, and security to enhance citizen confidence.
The solution - IBM and IBM Business Partner Triton Consulting teamed with the HMLR IT team to plan, install, configure and test IBM WebSphere Application Server for z/OS software, a tool specially designed to distribute, consolidate and synchronise data.
The result - HMLR was able to open its data to the Internet with its Land Register Online service, unlocking the value of its property information while maintaining high security levels and exceed e-government targets
On line services generated more than £28 million in fee income in 2005 and 2006.
HMLR has better protection against unplanned outages, better price/performance ratio significantly with the zAAP engines.
