The week-long master class is offered by IBM’s Db2 for z/OS Development team and is led by IBM Distinguished Engineer John Campbell.
Details of the only two sessions scheduled for 2020 are as follows:
- Monday, June 22 (8 am) to Friday, June 26, 2020 (2:30 pm) at IBM Hursley, in the United Kingdom.
- Monday, September 28 (8 am) to Friday, October 2, 2020 (2:30 pm) at IBM Silicon Valley Laboratory, in San Jose, California.
Requirements
Client participants must have at least 1 of the following (or equivalent experience level):
- IBM Certified System Administrator – Db2 for z/OS
- IBM Certified Database Administrator – Db2 for z/OS
This year’s instructors include:
John Campbell – An IBM Distinguished Engineer reporting to the Vice President of zAnalytics Development at the IBM Silicon Valley Lab. John is the technical leader of the world wide Db2 for z/OS Development SWAT Team.
Adrian Burke – An Open Group Master Certified IT Specialist and member of the Db2 for z/OS Development SWAT team.
Michael Dewert – An IBM Senior Certified Db2 Consulting Specialist and Senior Software Engineer based in Germany. Michael currently works as a member of the Db2 z/OS Development SWAT team
Michal Bialecki – A member of the DB2 z/OS Development SWAT team where he supports and advocates for customers across various industries and geographies.
Anthony Ciabattoni – A member of the DB2 z/OS Development SWAT team. Anthony has over 25 years of professional Db2 for z/OS experience with expertise in high available 24/7 high transaction rate data sharing environments.
