John Campbell is an IBM Alumni, retired IBM Distinguished Engineer, now working as a Senior Consultant for Triton Consulting. He has worked with Db2 for z/OS for over 40 years and has extensive experience of Db2 in terms of systems, database and application design.
John specialises in design for high performance, continuous availability, restart/recovery and data sharing. He is one of foremost authorites in the industry for implementing high end transaction processing database applications. John was recognised in 2022 by IDUG for his leadership, loyalty and distinguished service to the global DB2 community.
