With just over a week to go until Europe’s biggest and most prestigious DB2 technical conference, IDUG EMEA, here’s an overview of what attendees can look forward to.
Triton Consulting will be represented this year by speakers Iqbal Goralwalla, James Cockayne, Mark Gillis and Damir Wilder. In a twist to their regular presentations Triton will team up for this year’s presentations.
Highly experienced DB2 Consultants Iqbal and James will be giving a fascinating presentation entitled Easing the dilemma of choosing a DB2 Cloud Platform.
Overview
With several major cloud vendors competing to host your databases, it is important to understand the strengths, weaknesses and quirks of each. This presentation shares the experiences of Triton consultants as they have evaluated and conducted proof of concepts of hosting various DB2 configurations on Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and IBM cloud infrastructures.
Mark Gillis and Damir Wilder will be taking us through Migrating an on-premise DB2 environment to the AWS Cloud: a real-life success story
