Virtual Foreign Affairs at IDUG EMEA

Foreign Affairs Keys IDUG

The countdown is on for IDUG EMEA 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will be transformed into a virtual conference. The conference will still feature content from high calibre keynote speakers and presenters, but all the sessions will be accessible online.

We are delighted that Mark Gillis, IBM Champion and Principal Consultant at Triton Consulting has been selected to present Foreign Affairs: understanding Foreign Keys and their impact.

Mark will present real-life examples of Foreign Key usage, to highlight the pitfalls of them being used in a sub-optimal fashion. He will share tools and techniques for examining and operating Foreign Keys and highlight some of the problems and gotchas. Find out more about Mark’s presentation.

There will be lots of other fantastic presentations throughout the week. Check out the website for the full agenda or register for the online event

Julian Stuhler, Director and Head of Solutions Delivery at Triton will be participating in this year’s expert panel. Julian will be answering questions on DB2 z/OS alongside John Campbell, Terry Purcell and other members of the DB2 z/OS community. The z/OS expert panel will take place on Wednesday, 18 November, 15:00 CET.

The expert panels for 2020 are:

  • DB2 LUW
  • DB2 z/OS
  • Application Development / Analytics

If you have a question for any of the expert panels please submit it below.  Triton will happily forward your question onto the IDUG team.

The IDUG EMEA Edinburgh conference planned for 2020 will now take place on 17–21 October, 2021.
